The mass flow cell has a very low-pressure drop (less than 1 cm of H<sub>2<\/sub>O) and a linearity error of less than \u00b13% reading (which is much better than the precision expressed as a percentage of full scale\u00a0usage by some manufacturers). The repeatability is better than \u00b10.5% reading. The flow rate is regulated by a specially developed\u00a0<strong>proportional needle valve controlled by a microprocessor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MASSFLOW<\/strong> can be operated manually with the buttons on the front panel or using the remote control. The analogical remote control includes ON\/OFF and 0 to 10 V full-scale control of the flow rate. This allows the flow to be switched on and off or the setting of any flow rate for a desired time interval.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Gas volume Totaliser:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">MASSFLOW generates impulsions after every 5 ml of gas flow. These impulsions can be totalized by\u00a0LAMBDA INTEGRATOR (Art. No.: 4803), measured as a voltage, recorded on a recorder or on a PC (e.g. fermentation program FNet or SIAM). In this way exact volume information can be obtained.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Zero setting:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">MASSFLOW is equipped with an automatic zero setting which further improves the precision of the flow rate reading.
